How to get started
We are looking forward to you participation in the NCD-ODEP Online Dialogue, "Advancing Accessibility and Inclusion in Social Media – The Tech Industry Perspective." From 8:00 AM ET on Thursday, May 15, 2014 until 11:59 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014, you can post ideas, vote on existing ideas, or add comments to the dialogue.
To post an idea, click the "Submit New Idea" link located at the bottom of the "Do You Have a Great Idea?" box located on the left-hand side of the event home page. An image of this feature is shown below:
After clicking on the "Submit New Idea" link follow the steps below:
- In the pop up box that appears on your screen, type in a title that describes your idea in the "Title" field.
- Type in the details you would like to include about your idea in the "Description" field.
- Choose a topic from the drop down list. You can only choose one of these topics, so please select the one that best fits your idea.
- Click the "Submit" button to post your idea to the dialogue. Please note that the "Title," "Description," and "Topic," fields are mandatory, so you must complete all three items in order for your idea to successfully post.

To read an idea, simply click on the idea title. Each idea is individually listed in its own box under the "All" and "Popular Ideas" tabs. A listing of the first five ideas is posted in the center section of the event home page. To view additional ideas, click on the "next" link or any of the page numbers displayed at the bottom of the list.
To vote on an idea, simply click the green up arrow for "yes" or the red down arrow for "no". The arrows are located in the right upper corner above of each individual idea box as highlighted in the image below:
To submit a comment, select the link "Add Your Comment" located in the bottom left hand corner of each idea.
